Healgen tests work by detecting the nucleocapsid protein antigen found on the SARS-CoV-2. How Is the Test Done
- You first begin by inserting the swab in the nostril of a patient. Then, push it further inside until you feel resistance, up to about 2-4 cm.
- The next step involves rolling the swab around five times inside the nostrils to get the sample. Then, with the same swab, you will do the same for the other nostril.
- Remove the swab from the nostril.
- Get the extraction tube and place it in the hole found in the kit
- Carefully remove the sealing film that is on the extraction tube to keep it from spilling the liquid.
- Put approximately 0.3ML of the extraction buffer in the extraction tube and dip it in the swab. To get accurate results, roll the swab around seven times; press the head against the side and bottom of the tube.
- For about a minute, let the swab remain in the extraction buffer. Then, while you wait, you can squeeze the tube from the outside.
- The final step involves inserting the tip into the extraction tube.
How to Interpret the Results
If you see a line on the C mark, the result is negative, and it means that there was no SARS-CoV infection. However, you should retake the test in a few days as you cannot detect the virus during all its phases.
A positive outcome is indicated by lines on both the test and control lines (C and T). This usually means that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is present. If your results come back positive, reach out to a medical professional or get to the nearest healthcare centre.

Found this deal for 100 (20 packs of 5) Healgen at home or in the workplace self- testing kits. Pretty good for under 70 quid, and way less than I paid for premium range tests at the chemist!! Will be using them for my staff and family.

Saved a bit of money buying from this professional approved company. But having tested one out, and seeing how they are so accurate and easy to use, I wish I had brought a larger quantity and saved myself more money. My error!
Ordered 500 HEALGEN LATERAL FLOW COVID self-tests which came in 100 packs of 5 pieces a pack. They all have a very long 'Use by Date,' which, along with the great economy price, is why I ordered them for my organisation.
In the past I ordered from an unregistered supplier somewhere outside the UK, and so there was no guarantee that the Healgen covid tests were genuine. I now realise that it is never worth cutting corners by ordering from a supply company which is outside the UK. This British based covidtests.co.uk which can be contacted by phone as well as via messaging and post, has a long established history of supplying medical devices, and from now on, I will only be dealing with them.
